Job summary

Holmes US in Seattle is seeking a Structural Project Engineer with 3–6 years of experience to design mass timber, CLT, and other materials for tech campuses, mixed-use and seismic-resilient structures. You will work across our US and New Zealand network, collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver innovative, sustainable solutions.

A PE license and a degree in Civil/Structural Engineering are required; proficiency in ETABS, SAP, and RISA is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of structural engineering experience.
• B.S. or M.S. in Civil/Structural Engineering.
• PE license required.
• Seismic design experience.
• Strong technical and communication skills.
• Proficiency in ETABS, SAP, and RISA.

Responsibilities

• Design innovative building structures across multiple materials with mass timber/CLT exposure.
• Apply concrete, steel, masonry, and wood expertise on tech campuses and mixed-use projects.
• Collaborate with project teams across the US and New Zealand network.
• Contribute to sustainable and seismic-resilient design in Seattle.
