Job summary

DRPILLA’s Nyack, NY office is seeking a Mid-Level Structural Project Engineer to join the structural group. The role covers planning, scheduling, analysis, design, and reporting for a variety of building types.

You will perform complex building analysis, structural modeling, and plan production across schools, healthcare, higher education, office, industrial and residential projects. The candidate will coordinate with design disciplines, attend client meetings, and lead site investigations while

Qualifications

B.S. in Civil/Structural Engineering required; M.S. a plus.
Experience: 6–10 years in Structural Engineering.
Able to manage projects, clients, delegate tasks and guide staff.
Understand and apply code requirements.
Experience with structural analysis software.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
AutoCAD and Revit experience a plus.

Responsibilities

Coordinate project plans, calculations, specs and lead with other design disciplines.
Attend meetings and site visits with clients as a firm representative.
Lead site investigations and document structural deficiencies.
Perform condition assessments, load ratings and schematic designs.
Communicate with clients to understand project requirements.
Plan and organize project staff according to needs.
Perform analysis and design of structural systems for various buildings.
Manage project design and deliverables.
