Job summary

ClarkDietrich is seeking a Project Engineer for its McDonough, GA office to participate in a 2-month intensive training program before relocation to a home base. You will develop the skills to provide technical support and accurate information to customers, and collaborate with managers and technicians throughout the design process.

The role emphasizes producing shop drawings, structural calculations, and timely documentation to support project success and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (Civil/Structural preferred) or related field.
• Professional Engineering certification or ability to take the exam (EIT) is preferred.
• Military equivalent will be recognized in lieu of education/experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain relationships with ClarkDietrich customers through courteous phone conversations and prompt service.
• Produce a CAD/BIM production detail drawing package of cold-formed steel structures including curtain wall and load-bearing views.
• Collaborate with General Manager, Engineering Manager, Project Managers and Engineering Technicians throughout the design process.
• Produce calculations and detailed shop drawings for client submissions and internal reviews.
