Job summary

Epstein Architecture, Engineering and Construction in Chicago, IL is seeking a Structural Project Engineer for a hybrid work schedule. You will lead structural engineering teams on large, complex projects, manage BIM, perform calculations, and mentor junior engineers.

The ideal candidate has 6–10 years of experience in a consulting AE firm, a PE license, Revit Structure experience, and proficiency with RAM, SAP 2000, RISA-3D, and CONCEPT.

Qualifications

• Master's degree preferred; PE license required; SE preferred for leadership.
• “6–10 years of project experience in AE/engineering consulting environments.
• Experience with Revit Structure and discipline coordination across team members.
• Proficiency with RAM, SAP 2000, RISA-3D and CONCEPT is expected.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural engineering teams on large, complex projects.
• Oversee BIM model development and integration with project delivery.
• Perform calculations, research, and structural analysis as part of design
• Coordinate with other design disciplines to ensure constructible, code-compliant solutions.
• Assist in production of plans, specs, reports, and other project documents.
