Job summary

Epstein, a Chicago-based ESOP firm, is seeking a Mechanical Project Engineer to lead complex HVAC design and project delivery across commercial, institutional, education, hospitality, government, residential, retail, and industrial facilities.

The ideal candidate will have 6–10 years of consulting-engineering experience, strong leadership, and the ability to coordinate multidisciplinary design teams, with proficiency in Revit and Trace tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
• 6-10 years of project experience in consulting engineering.
• Experience designing commercial and industrial HVAC systems.
• Ability to lead engineering design teams and coordinate deliverables.
• Strong coordination across disciplines; knowledge of IMC, Chicago Mechanical Code, ASHRAE.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and integrate engineering activities across project life cycle.
• Develop engineering designs and manage changes to documents/specifications.
• Lead design teams and mentor junior engineers.
• Design HVAC systems for diverse facilities.
