- Prepare plans, reports, and studies for review
- Direct technicians and EITs in producing engineering documents for routine projects accurately and efficiently
- Interface with clients when appropriate alongside Project Managers
- Visit construction sites to observe progress and determine general conformance to engineering plans and specifications
- Research design criteria, regulations, and standards related to projects and incorporate them into design documents
- Mentor others in proficient use of design software
- Lead structural design and analysis for building and infrastructure projects
- Collaborate with Parkhill’s integrated MEP/S team to deliver innovative, cost-effective, and constructible solutions
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Architectural Engineering required
- Passed the Professional Engineer exam and able to provide a PE license number
- Minimum of 10 years of structural building design experience in a consulting role
- Ability to use Revit/BIM preferred
