Job summary

Parkhill is seeking an accomplished Structural Engineer with PE licensure to lead design and analysis for building and infrastructure projects in Texas. You will mentor staff, prepare engineering documents, and ensure compliance with design criteria and codes while collaborating with the integrated MEP/S team.

This role requires a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering, a PE license, and at least 10 years of consulting experience.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates extensive experience in structural design and analysis for building and infrastructure projects, with a strong emphasis on mentoring and collaboration.
• Proficient in preparing engineering documents and ensuring compliance with design criteria and regulations.
• Minimum 10 years of structural building design experience in a consulting role.

Responsibilities

• Prepare plans, reports, and studies for review
• Direct technicians and EITs in producing engineering documents for routine projects accurately and efficiently
• Interface with clients when appropriate alongside Project Managers
• Visit construction sites to observe progress and determine general conformance to engineering plans and specifications
• Research design criteria, regulations, and standards related to projects and incorporate them into design documents
• Mentor others in proficient use of design software

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Architectural Engineering required
• Passed the Professional Engineer exam and able to provide a PE license number

• Ability to use Revit/BIM preferred
