ECS Group of Companies in Carrollton, TX, seeks a Structural Project Associate to support engineering and consulting projects, perform field investigations, testing, and reporting. You will collaborate with engineers and multidisciplinary teams to evaluate existing structures and develop practical repair solutions.

The role offers hands-on field experience, mentorship, and opportunities for growth within a collaborative consulting environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of related experience.
• EIT preferred; PE licensure is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural engineering, assessment, testing, and consulting services.
• Conduct field investigations and condition evaluations of existing structures.
• Oversee field testing activities (anchor pull tests, GPR, coring, etc.).
• Interpret drawings and data to evaluate structural performance.
• Prepare clear technical reports of observations and analyses.
• Manage multiple projects with limited supervision.
• Coordinate with clients, staff, and senior leadership.
• Mentor junior staff and support project execution.
• Ensure compliance with codes and ECS quality requirements.
• Review deliverables before senior review.
