Job summary

Parkhill is seeking a Structural Professional Engineer to lead the structural design and analysis of building and infrastructure projects, collaborating with Parkhill's integrated MEP/S team. This full-time, salary-position emphasizes innovative, cost-effective, and constructible engineering solutions that align with client expectations and Parkhill's mission.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Civil or Architectural Engineering, a PE license, and at least 10 years of structural building design

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Architectural Engineering required.
• Passed the Professional Engineer exam and can provide a PE license number.
• The ability to use Revit/BIM is preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of structural building design experience in a consulting role.

Responsibilities

• Prepare plans, reports, and studies for review.
• Direct technicians and EIT's for production of engineering documents for routine projects accurately and efficiently.
• Interface with Clients when appropriate alongside Project Managers.
• Visit construction sites to observe progress and determine general conformance to engineering plans and specifications.
• Research design criteria, regulations, and standards as they relate to projects and incorporate them into design documents.
• Mentor others in the proficient use of design software.

Overview

The Structural Professional Engineer is responsible for leading the structural design and analysis of a variety of building and infrastructure projects while collaborating closely with Parkhill's integrated MEP/S team. This is a full-time position, paid bi-weekly on a salary basis.
