Job summary

Parkhill is seeking a Project Manager I to support planning, design, delivery, and construction services on site civil engineering and land development projects. You will work with public and private clients to meet project demands and ensure timely, high-quality execution on multiple sectors.

The role is full-time and salary, with opportunities to lead scopes, budgets, and schedules, coordinate with engineers and stakeholders, and ensure compliance with regulations and design standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a closely related field from an ABET-accredited program.
  • Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) in Oklahoma or 4+ years in lieu of license.
  • 5–10 years of progressively responsible civil/public infrastructure project experience.
  • Experience managing projects with design for grading, drainage, paving, utilities and site infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Contributes to management of all phases of civil projects including planning, design, permitting, bidding, and construction administration.
  • Supports technical delivery of civil projects including public infrastructure and transportation initiatives.
  • Assists in developing scopes, budgets, schedules, and work plans with leadership and clients.
  • Tracks and supports project performance, deliverables, and timelines.
  • Participates in construction administration activities such as site visits and progress tracking.
  • Collaborates with engineers, consultants, internal teams, and external stakeholders to meet design and construction requirements.
  • Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and design standards.
  • Prepares or oversees engineering reports, plans, specs, and cost estimates.
  • Monitors project schedules to ensure timely completion of technical deliverables.

The Project Manager I, supports the planning, design, delivery, and construction services on site civil engineering and land development projects through direct technical involvement. Responsibilities

  • Prepares or oversees the preparation of engineering reports, plans, specifications, and cost estimates.

  • Assists in monitoring project schedules and help ensure timely completion of technical deliverables.

  • Supports planning and supervision of design and construction activities on advanced projects.

  • Other duties as assigned.


Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a closely related field from an ABET-accredited program.

  • Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) in the State of Oklahoma or a minimum of 4 years of experience in lieu of license.

  • Minimum of 5-10 years of progressively responsible experience in civil or public infrastructure projects.

  • Proven experience managing engineering projects such as leading technical design for grading, drainage, paving, utilities, storm water management, and site infrastructure.

  • Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Knowledge of applicable local, state, and federal regulations, design standards, and permitting processes.

  • Strong understanding of engineering principles related to design, permitting, and construction administration.

  • Demonstrates the ability to lead teams and coordinate across disciplines.

  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to project sites as needed.
