Job summary

The Haskell Company in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a skilled welder/fabricator to ensure the layout and fit of structural and fabricated products. You will read blueprints, set up equipment, and weld with multiple processes in a hands-on role.

This position requires four years of experience, Tack Welding certification, and preferred 3G welding certification; physical stamina and safety awareness are essential as you work indoors/outdoors with lifting and equipment.

Qualifications

• Four years of experience
• Certification in Tack Welding required
• Prefer Welding Certification in 3G position

Responsibilities

• Layout, plan layout, assembly, and welding using knowledge of geometry and welding techniques
• Lay out, position, align, and fit components
• Bolt, clamp, and tack-weld parts to secure in position for welding
• Set up equipment and weld parts using arc, gas-shielded arc, submerged arc, or gas welding
• May assemble parts by bolting
• May repair products by dismantling, straightening, reshaping and reassembling parts with cutting tools
