Job summary

Haskell, based in Jacksonville, FL, is seeking a skilled welder to ensure proper layout and fit of structural and fabricated products. You will select equipment, plan layout, and weld using arc, gas-shielded arc, submerged arc, or gas welding methods, while aligning and assembling components.

You will read blueprints, interpret weld procedures and symbols, and operate with precise hand dexterity. The role requires indoor/outdoor work and adherence to safety and company values of Team,

Qualifications

Ability to read shop drawings and visualize 3D objects from 2D drawings.
Ability to understand weld procedures and weld symbols.
Regular attendance and reliability.
Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and blueprints.

Responsibilities

Selects equipment and plans layout, assembly, and welding.
Lays out, positions, aligns, and fits components together.
Bolts, clamps, and tack-welds parts to secure in position for welding.
Sets up equipment and welds parts using arc, gas-shielded arc, submerged arc, or gas welding.
Assemble parts by bolting.
Repair products by dismantling, straightening, reshaping, and reassembling parts using cutting torch and hand-tools.
Travel as required.
Other duties as needed.
