Job summary

HDR is seeking an entry-level Structural PE to join their Building Engineering Services team at the Vancouver, WA office. In this full-time role, you will independently manage medium to large size projects and provide guidance to junior staff while coordinating with various disciplines. A Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering is required, along with a recognized professional engineering license. You'll have opportunities to work on diverse projects including industrial facilities and waterfront structures, focusing on effective project scoping and construction support.

Qualifications

• Requires professional engineering license recognized by the licensing board for the location of the position offered.
• A minimum of 3 years structural engineer experience preferred.
• Previous experience with an architectural/engineering or engineering consulting firm.

Responsibilities

• Work independently on medium to large size projects.
• Review work performed by junior staff and provide guidance.
• Perform condition assessments on existing structures and site visits.
• Assist more senior staff in developing scopes, schedules, and budgets.
• Provide on-site engineering support during construction.
