Job summary

HDR is seeking an entry-level Structural PE to support the Building Engineering Services team in Oregon and SW Washington. The role involves working with a wide range of structures and materials, performing site visits, and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams.

Ideal candidates hold a Civil/Structural Engineering degree and a PE license or are actively pursuing licensure. Office location choices include Vancouver, WA or Portland, OR with regional collaboration across the team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering required.
• Professional Engineer license required or recognized by local licensing board.
• Experience with structural software and design packages is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work independently on medium to large structural projects, coordinating across disciplines.
• Review work by junior staff and provide direction as needed.
• Assist senior staff in developing scopes, schedules and budgets.
• Perform site visits, field verifications and structural observations during construction.
