Job summary

Spectraforce Technologies in Everett, WA is seeking a Structural & Payload Design Engineer 3 to develop and document payload system requirements, define the system design, and integrate structural and interior payload components across the product lifecycle.

You'll perform tests to verify performance, work with suppliers and production teams, and apply CAD tools (3-D CAD) to create, modify and release designs, collaborating in a cross-functional aerospace environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor level engineering degree required.
• 5+ years in related aerospace payload/design roles.
• Experience with 3-D CAD tools and design release processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and document payload system requirements to establish the design.
• Create/modify payload structures using 3-D CAD to support lifecycle.
• Perform tests to verify systems meet requirements and specs.
• Coordinate with suppliers and production to optimize design.
• Support investigation of emerging technologies for future designs.
• Work under general supervision.
