Job summary

Environmental Air Systems, a full-service mechanical contractor in High Point, NC, seeks experienced MIG Welders for our fabrication shop. You will weld structural steel components and work both independently and as part of a team.

The role requires reading welding symbols and blueprints, passing 3G and 4G weld tests, and adhering to safety protocols. We offer weekly pay and benefits including health, life, and disability insurance, plus a 401(k) with company match.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED; relevant welding experience.
• Must read welding symbols and blueprints.
• Ability to pass 3G/4G MIG test.
• English or Spanish speaking proficiency.
• Lift up to 50 lbs; tolerate heat and noise.

Responsibilities

• Weld structural steel components using MIG wirefeed.
• Weld in 3G and 4G positions per procedures.
• Read welding symbols and testing requirements.
• Follow safety instructions.

• Perform other duties as assigned by supervision.
