Job summary

DIS-TRAN Packaged Substations is seeking a Structural Marshaling Technician for our Port of Alexandria facility. You will handle structures and PFB from production end to shipment, working with a team to keep yards organized and safe while supporting shipping and logistics.

The role emphasizes crane coordination, crane safety, and continuous improvement, with a focus on meeting delivery timelines and maintaining quality.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of Structural Marshaling experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Adobe Acrobat is preferred.
• Strong analytical skills and good communication with customers.

Responsibilities

• Manage completed products from end of production through shipment.
• Coordinate with team to identify continuous improvement opportunities.
• Ensure safety of the Structural Marshaling Team and yard cleanliness.
• Organize crane usage and yard logistics for loading/unloading.
• Maintain and update the PSS Hard Stand Map with changes.
• Collaborate with shipping to schedule departures and ensure efficiency.
• Assist Logistics during slower periods.
