Job summary

Suntec is seeking a Construction Laborer in Phoenix, AZ to support foremen, carpenters, formsetters, and finishers on diverse projects.

The role requires physical stamina and strict adherence to safety guidelines, with reliable attendance. You will help prepare sites, move materials, and assist with concrete pours, under supervision.

Qualifications

• Must follow safety requirements and OSHAsafety guidelines.
• Regular, timely attendance is required for this position.
• Perform strenuous physical labor under adverse field conditions.
• Move objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to understand and follow directions with moderate supervision.

Responsibilities

• Perform general construction labor and site clean-up.
• Set and strip wall forms and assist in pouring concrete.
• Move materials by hand and with material transport mechanisms.
• Prepare worksite for journeymen (carpenters, formsetters, finishers) to perform tasks.
• Monitor processes, materials, and surroundings; ensure safety compliance.
• Install post shores per instructions.
• Assist concrete crew around pours and finishes.
• Load and unload materials, machinery, and tools.
• Clean, inspect and perform routine maintenance of equipment.

Description

• Perform general construction labor, includingjobsiteclean-up.
• Set and strip wall formsand assist inpouringconcrete.
• Move various construction materials, both byhandand utilizing various material transport mechanisms.
• Engage in preparation work toreadyworksite for journeyman employees (carpenters,formsetters, finishers, etc.) toperformdefined tasks.
• Monitor processes, materials,and/orsurroundings.
• Perform functions according to company and OSHAsafety guidelines.
• Install post shores per instructions.
• Work withtheconcretecrew on and around concrete forms assisting with concrete pour & finish.
• Workwith buckets and pump truck to place concrete
• Clean, inspect andperform routinemaintenance of equipment and tools
• Load and unload materials, machinery,andtools
• Clean and prepare sites to eliminate possible hazards

• Must be able to adhere to all safety requirements
• Must be able to work safety in all surroundings, and with team members.
• Regular, timely, and predictable attendanceis requiredfor this position. Must be able to show up on time for Safety Pre-Task Planning.
• Perform strenuous physical labor under adverse field conditions. Must have excellent stamina.
• Ascend/Descend a ladders, scaffolding, or high structures.
• Move objects weighing up to 50 pounds.

• Ability to understand and follow directionswith moderate supervision.
