Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Ironworker or in a similar construction role.

• Proficiency with welding techniques including MIG, TIG, and stick welding.
• Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and commitment to workplace safety.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine job requirements.
• Measure, cut, and shape metal components using hand and power tools.
• Erect and install structural steel frameworks, girders, and columns at construction sites.
• Weld, bolt, and secure metal pieces to create stable and durable structures.
• Inspect and maintain metal structures to ensure safety and quality standards are met.
