You will work outdoors in high-risk environments with heavy materials, requiring precision alignment and strict safety adherence. You will read blueprints, rig and hoist using cranes, and bolt/weld components per specifications.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of structural steel/ironworking experience required.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints/drawings.
• Experience with rigging, hoisting, and structural steel erection.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to work safely in high-risk construction environments.
• OSHA 10 certification is preferred or required.

Responsibilities

• Assemble hoisting equipment and rigging to move heavy materials.
• Hoist, position, and secure structural beams, columns, and girders.
• Bolt, rivet, or weld structural members per blueprints and instructions.
• Align and connect components using bolts and alignment tools.
• Erect steel and precast components for buildings, bridges, and other structures.
• Inspect and maintain rigging and hoisting equipment.
• Ensure safety procedures and PPE are followed at all times.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
