Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of field experience.
• Must lift 50 pounds and perform physical tasks including climbing and bending.
• 40+ hours per week with possible weekend work.
• Background check and drug screen as required by location.
• Must be able to work at heights up to 200 feet.

Responsibilities

• Set up hoisting equipment for raising and placing structural steel members.
• Fasten steel members to hoist using chain, cable, or rope.
• Signal hoisting operator to lift and place members.
• Guide member using tag line to position components accurately.
• Manipulate and position members with hand tools and jacks as needed.
• Align bolt holes and secure members after initial placement.
• Cut and weld steel members for alterations as required.
• Ensure safety and project rules are followed; keep work area tidy.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
