Job summary

Khan And Associates Inc is seeking a detail-oriented Structural Inspector to join our Miami, FL team. The role involves inspecting buildings of all types, interpreting drawings, and preparing detailed reports to ensure code compliance and safety.

You will coordinate with engineers, contractors, and project managers, and travel across the Miami area to verify corrective actions and ensure standards such as ASCE, ACI, AISC, and Florida Building Code are met.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in structural inspection, civil engineering, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of structural systems including concrete, steel, masonry, and wood framing.
• Familiarity with Florida Building Code and Miami-Dade County regulations.
• Relevant certifications such as ICC Structural Inspector.
• Ability to read and interpret structural drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for report writing and client interaction.
• Highly detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to various job sites throughout the Miami area.
