Job summary

AEIS LLC is seeking a Facade and Structural Inspector to join our onsite team in the New Jersey/New York area. You will inspect building facades and structural elements, verify compliance with codes, and report findings to project teams.

You will collaborate with architects, engineers and contractors, maintain knowledge of current regulations, and contribute to safer, code-compliant city buildings.

You will work closely with architects, engineers, and construction teams to conduct thorough inspections and provide accurate reports on the condition of building facades and structures. • Conduct thorough inspections of building facades and structures to ensure compliance with safety regulations and codes.

• Demonstrate excellent problem‑solving skills to address any issues that may arise during inspections.


• Ensure all inspection records and reports are properly maintained and organized.


• Represent the AEIS in a professional and courteous manner at all times.


• Attend trainings and workshops to continually improve knowledge and skills related to facade and structural inspections.


• Collaborate with other city departments and agencies to address any building safety concerns.


• Provide exceptional customer service to all stakeholders involved in the inspection process.


• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures while conducting inspections.


• Assist in the development and implementation of building safety initiatives and programs.


• Work independently and as part of a team to achieve departmental goals and objectives.


• Maintain confidentiality of all inspection records and reports.


• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Education Requirements & Experience

• BS Civil Engineering graduate


• ICC Masonry, ACI Concrete Construction Special Inspector, ICC Bolting


• At least one (1) year proven track record on facade and/or structural inspection.


• Experience on thermographic analysis of building envelope and soundness test
