The University of Missouri-Columbia invites applications for a Structural Heart Physician Assistant in the School of Medicine, Department of Cardiovascular Medicine. Qualifications

• PA licensure by the Missouri State Board of Registration for the Healing Arts.
• Master’s or Doctorate degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant program.
• Interest in Structural Heart, Interventional Cardiology or related fields.

Responsabilités

• Evaluate and manage patients with valve disease and pre-/post-procedural care for TAVR/TEER/TMVR and other interventions.
• Lead proactive surveillance of progressive valve disease and coordinate escalation.
• Manage AI screening program, including patient identification, referrals and outcome tracking.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary Heart Team care and transitions from referral through intervention.
• Educate patients, referring providers, and staff to promote early recognition and referrals.
• Optimize documentation, support CDI/coding and contribute to quality reporting.
• Support program growth through data analysis and standardized care pathways.
• Participate in inpatient consultations, Heart Team conferences, research, and stay current with guidelines.
