Job summary

Adventist HealthCare is seeking an experienced Structural Heart Nurse Practitioner to join the Cardiovascular Unit at White Oak Medical Center. The NP will collaborate with cardiology and interventional radiology to revise treatment plans and prepare patients for procedures, with emphasis on evidence-based care.

The role requires 1–2 years of acute care NP experience, Maryland ARNP licensure, and certifications such as BLS/ACLS.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in nursing with ACNP or ANP track; MD licensure as ARNP in Maryland.
• 1–2 years of NP experience in an acute procedural setting.
• Current Maryland ARNP license and required certifications.

Responsibilities

• Revises and implements therapeutic regimens with cardiology and radiology teams.
• Prepares patients for procedures with H&P and pre-procedure assessment.
• Monitors progress and coordinates care with CVIR and hospital teams.
• Facilitates discharge and supports practice improvement through evidence-based care.
• Acts as a clinical resource within the cardiovascular service line.
