Job summary
Adventist HealthCare's White Oak Medical Center in Maryland is seeking an experienced Structural Heart Nurse Practitioner to join the Cardiovascular Unit. You will collaborate with cardiology and interventional radiology teams to deliver evidence-based, patient-centered care.
The role involves pre-procedure evaluations, managing therapies, discharge planning, and participating in performance improvements. Maryland ARNP license and ACNP/ANP certification preferred; 1–2 years in acute procedural
Qualifications
- Masters of Nursing, Acute Care NP or Adult NP required.
- 1–2 years NP experience in an acute procedural setting.
- Maryland ARNP license required; ACNP/ANP cert preferred.
- Maryland Controlled Dangerous Substance license and DEA license required.
- BLS and ACLS certifications required.
Responsibilities
- Prescribes and implements therapeutic regimens with cardiology and interventional radiology teams.
- Performs pre-procedure H&Ps and pre-procedure interval H&P.
- Monitors patient progress and coordinates care.
- Facilitates patient discharge and care transitions.
- Leads practice improvement through evidence-based changes.
- Serves as clinical resource for the CV unit.
