Job summary

Adventist HealthCare seeks a Cardiovascular Nurse Practitioner for White Oak Medical Center in Maryland. The NP will collaborate with cardiology and interventional radiology to manage patient care, prepare patients for procedures, monitor progress, and support discharge planning while leading evidence-based practice improvements.

Qualifications include a Master's in Nursing (ACNP/ANP), active Maryland APRN license, and required ACLS/BLS with a possible DEA and CD Substance license.

Qualifications

Masters of Nursing, Acute Care NP or Adult NP
Maryland Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner license
ACLS and BLS certifications are required or approved
DEA license and Maryland Controlled Dangerous Substances license preferred

Responsibilities

Revises and implements therapeutic regimens with an interdisciplinary team
Prepares patients for procedures including H&Ps
Monitors patient progress
Collaborates with CVIR and hospital team to coordinate care
Leads practice changes and applies evidence-based practice
Serves as a clinical resource and discharge planner
