The Forensic Structural Engineer will take a hands-on approach to engineering, working in the field, testing facility and office. Additionally, this role will require the engineer to learn new things, conduct technical research, and write engineering reports.
This is a full-time position. Some flexibility in hours is permitted, but you must be available during the standard work hours of 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
This position is a combination of fieldwork, travel-related work, and sedentary work. An employee is regularly required to drive, stand, sit, walk, reach, type, talk, hear, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb, push, pull, carry, and lift up to 50 pounds. An employee may also be required to traverse wooded and/or uneven terrain, enter structures, use ladders, walk on roofs, enter small spaces, and work in various weather conditions.
Regular travel will be required as part of the Structural Forensic Engineer job. Some overnight travel may be required.
