Structural Fitter Welder
Pay: $24+/hr (DOE)
Hours: Monday - Friday, 5 PM - 3 AM
Type: Temp-to-Hire
Test: 2G Plate MIG & Flux Core
Location: Catoosa, OK

About the Role:

We’re looking for a skilled Structural Fitter Welder to join our night shift team in Catoosa, OK! If you’ve got experience with structural fitting and welding, this is a great opportunity to work on exciting projects like heat exchangers and other large structures. You’ll be assembling components, reading blueprints, and ensuring everything meets high-quality standards.

What You’ll Do:

• Lay out, fit, and weld parts to assemble structural forms using MIG and Flux Core techniques.
• Use assembly plans and manual/overhead jib cranes to fit components together.
• Perform basic math to accurately measure and determine part dimensions.
• Set up welding machines, adjust voltage, and handle wire feeding.
• Read blueprints and perform first article inspections to ensure top-quality work.
• Work safely and efficiently, collaborating with the team to keep operations running smoothly.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience: At least 1+ year of welding experience; 5 years of structural fitting experience is highly recommended.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in MIG and Flux Core welding, with strong math skills for accurate measurements.
• Blueprint Reading: Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Safety First: Knowledge of welding safety practices and procedures.
• Team Player: Good communication skills and a positive attitude toward teamwork.
• Detail-Oriented: Strong focus on quality and precision.
