Formación

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and specs to determine fitting requirements.
• Proficient in reading precision drawings and applying fitting specifications.
• Skilled with hand and power tools used in structural fitting.
• Able to measure and cut materials accurately and safely.
• Familiar with metals and alloys used in structural fabrication.
• Strong attention to detail and precision in work.

Responsabilidades

• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specs to determine fitting requirements.
• Measure, cut, and fit metal components such as beams, pipes, and plates.
• Position and align structural parts accurately using hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments.
• Assemble and secure parts temporarily to prepare for welding or final fastening.
• Inspect fitted components for alignment and quality conformance.
• Collaborate with welders, fabricators, engineers, and QC personnel to meet project goals.
• Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
• Maintain tools and equipment through regular inspection and maintenance.
• Follow established processes to ensure consistency and efficiency in fitting operations.
• Communicate project status and address challenges with supervisors.
