Lexicon, Inc. is searching for a skilled Structural Fitter to join our team in Monroe, Louisiana. The position offers a competitive pay range of $17 to $28 per hour, emphasizing teamwork, integrity, and innovation.

As a Structural Fitter, you will bring blueprints to life by laying out and assembling metal parts according to AISC and AWS standards. This role requires strict adherence to safety protocols while ensuring precision and quality in fabrication.

Qualifications

• Must pass Class B welding test including various FCAW and SMAW techniques.
• Ability to fit most structural steel including beams and columns.
• Excellent math skills required and ability to pass tape measure test.

Responsibilities

• Layout and assemble fabricated parts according to shop drawings.
• Align parts and prepare for final assembly following safety regulations.
• Move parts into position using hoists or cranes.
