Job summary

Lexicon Inc. is seeking a Structural Fitter to lay out and assemble fabricated parts to blueprint specifications. You will work with shop drawings, align parts and prepare for welding or riveting, using AISC/AWS standards.

The role requires lifting heavy parts, crane usage, and strict safety adherence in a manufacturing setting. We offer competitive pay of 17–28 USD per hour with weekly pay, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for growth through Lexicon University training.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with a vo-tech/trade certificate.
• Must fit structural steel beams, columns and simple frames.
• Must pass welding tests (1G–4G FCAW/SMAW and SAW).
• Ability to pass a tape measure test is required.

Responsibilities

• Lays out, positions, aligns and fits fabricated parts per shop drawings.
• Uses AISC and AWS standards to guide fabrication and assembly.
• Operates hoist/overhead crane to move parts into position.
• Ensures safety and OSHA compliance; maintains housekeeping.
