Job summary

ADF Group in Great Falls, MT is seeking a skilled welder who can follow safety procedures, read semi-complex fabrication blueprints, and operate hand and power tools with precision.

You will weld flat (1G), horizontal (2G) and vertical (3G) positions, lay out parts, fit assemblies, and manage workflow for yourself and 2–3 teammates under tight deadlines, using oxyfuel and plasma cutting.

Qualifications

• Read and understand semi-complex fabrication blueprints.
• Layout parts, holes, copes and bevels with accuracy.
• Fit semi-complex assemblies with minimal errors.

• Understand heat distortion and welding discontinuities.

• Understands heat distortion and prevention.
• Understands types of welding discontinuities, prevention, and repair.
• Proficient written and verbal communication skills.

• General understanding of heat cambering.
