Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or Engineering Mechanics required.
• Working knowledge of fundamental physics related to structural mechanics.
• Entry level knowledge of Python.
• Legal authorization to work in the US; visa sponsorship will not be provided.

Responsibilities

• Independently perform, interpret and report assigned analyses within SBP.
• Support senior engineers in developing new simulation capabilities.
• Identify and implement improvements and automations to simulation workflows.
• Liaise with design groups and follow projects.
• Review other’s work for proper model setup and properties.
• Ensure compliance of analysis activities to internal standards.
• Evaluate Emerson products for adequate pressure boundary design per ASME standards.
• Evaluate fatigue, vibration, and thermal effects for robust designs.
