Job summary

High Structural Erectors is seeking a Project Manager to identify projects, prepare quantity take-offs and cost estimates for steel and concrete erection, including bridges and parking structures. You will review design and production drawings, plans, and specs, and may visit job sites to gather complete cost information and monitor progress.

Qualifications

• BS degree in civil, structural or mechanical engineering preferred.
• Experience estimating erection of bridge structures and concrete parking garages.
• Ability to read design drawings and schematics for cost estimating.
• Experience in construction, manufacturing or assembly processes.
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills and ability to manage multiple projects.
• Proficient with PC skills, Microsoft Suite and estimating software.
• Experience with SAP software.

Responsibilities

• Grow the company’s backlog through increase sales.
• Review design and production drawings, plans and specifications to ensure accuracy of project estimates.
• Site visits when required to prepare complete cost information and negotiate change orders.
• Prepare weekly plans for projects including manpower requirements.
• Develop estimates for crew sizes and hours, crane needs and locations.
• Maintain accurate project forecasts in SAP.
