The Structural Analysis Group of Northrop Grumman Marine Systems (NGMS) is looking for Structural Engineers Level 2 or 3 to join our team based out of Sunnyvale, CA. Responsibilities include developing component and system level finite element models using Hypermesh and post processing analysis results using Hyperview, Matlab, and Excel. Perform linear finite element static, transient, vibration, modal and direct frequency response, and response spectra analyses using Nastran and Abaqus. This role may be filled at a higher grade based on the qualifications listed below.
Primary Level Salary Range: $91,800.00 - $137,600.00. Secondary Level Salary Range: $114,000.00 - $171,000.00. This range represents a general guideline; compensation factors include scope, responsibilities, candidate experience, education, skills, and market conditions. Depending on the position, overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus may be offered in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses reflect individual contributions and company results. Employees in VP or Director roles may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
