Job summary

The Personnel Consulting Group partners with an industry leader in custom material handling and heavy-lifting engineering solutions for the oil and gas industry, seeking a seasoned Structural Engineer to lead a high-performing technical team on-site in Louisiana.

You will direct complex projects, mentor engineers, and ensure designs move from concept through fabrication and field deployment, with strong emphasis on safety, quality, and cross-department collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil/Structural Engineering required; MS preferred.
• Active P.E. license for Louisiana or ability to obtain via comity.
• 7+ years of progressive structural engineering experience with leadership.
• Experience in heavy lifting, bulk material handling, or offshore structures is highly preferred.
• Strong communication and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct a team of civil and structural engineers, mentoring and developing talent.
• Oversee design and technical analysis for structural steel, heavy lifting, and material handling systems from concept to deployment.
• Manage schedules, budgets, resources, and quality control.
