Job summary

DN Tanks LLC is seeking a Structural Engineering Intern to gain hands-on experience in civil engineering and construction. You will work with a dedicated mentor on real projects, contributing to the lifecycle of heavy-civil construction from conception to completion.

This role offers mentorship, exposure to tank construction sites, and opportunities to develop design and drafting skills while advancing at the company.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Civil Engineering undergraduate program, structural focus preferred.
• Experience with CAD software (preferably AutoCAD) and Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel).
• Excellent communication and time management skills.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize work assignments.
• Ability to problem-solve in individual and team settings.
• Transportation to Irving, Texas.

Responsibilities

• Assist Design Engineers by performing preliminary tank designs and drafting details.
• Review geotechnical project reports and customize project specification language.
• Create project-specific construction information packages for the DN Construction Department.
• Support Research and Development projects in the Engineering Department.
