Job summary

Arup in Seattle seeks a Structural Engineering Intern for Summer 2027. You will design structural systems, perform analysis, and deliver drawings and reports as part of project teams across diverse markets.

Pursuing a Master’s in Civil/Structural/Architectural Engineering; FE/EIT preferred; strong communication and organizational skills; familiarity with Revit, Rhino, SketchUp, AutoCAD, MySQL, and Python; emphasis on sustainable design and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Master's Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or Architectural Engineering.
• FE/EIT certification preferred.
• Strong communication and planning abilities.
• Interest in sustainable design and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design structural systems and perform structural analysis.
• Work with project teams to develop sustainable solutions to built environment challenges.
• Deliver structural engineering drawings, calculations, reports, sketches and presentations.
