Arup is seeking a Structural Engineering Intern for Summer 2027 in Chicago. You will work within a multi-disciplinary design team to develop sustainable solutions and learn through Arup University and internal networks.

You will design structural systems, perform analyses, deliver drawings and reports, and grow software skills while learning local and international codes. Eligible candidates are pursuing a Master's in structural engineering and have coursework in structural analysis and advanced

Formación

• Pursuing a Master's Degree in Structural Engineering
• Coursework in structural analysis and advanced steel/reinforced concrete design
• Professional demeanor and strong planning/organizational skills
• Ability to work in a deadline environment
• Clear communication of ideas and technical concepts

Responsabilidades

• Create solutions for built-environment challenges using structural engineering
• Design structural systems and perform structural analysis within a team of engineers
• Deliver structural engineering drawings, calculations, reports, sketches and presentations
• Collaborate with internal and external parties
• Attend meetings and learn through listening and discussion
• Work in a multi-disciplinary design team to develop sustainable solutions
• Grow software and technology skills for structural analysis, design, and documentation
• Learn and understand local and international codes and regulations
