Job summary

You’ll work to understand local and international codes, collaborate with engineers and other professionals, and grow software skills like Revit, Rhino, and SketchUp.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Master’s Degree in Structural Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or related fields focused on structural engineering.
• Coursework in structural analysis, advanced steel design, and advanced reinforced concrete design.
• Professional demeanor and ability to communicate ideas clearly.
• Strong planning, organizing, and time-management skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Confident communication of technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Proactive attitude, enthusiasm, and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Create solutions for built-environment challenges using structural engineering techniques.
• Design structural systems and perform analyses within a team of engineers.
• Deliver drawings, calculations, reports, sketches and presentations.
• Collaborate with internal and external parties on projects.
• Attend meetings and learn through discussion and listening.
• Work in a multi-disciplinary design team to develop sustainable solutions.
• Grow software and technology skills for analysis, design, and documentation.
• Engage with Arup University and related networks for skill development.
• Learn and understand local and international codes and regulations.
