Job summary

ClarkDietrich Engineering Services is seeking a Civil Engineering intern in McDonough, GA. Under the guidance of senior staff, you will work on design projects for cold-formed steel framing, perform structural analysis, and develop CAD/BIM shop drawings.

The ideal candidate is pursuing a BS/BA in civil engineering with strong teamwork, time management, and communication skills. Experience with AutoCAD or Revit is a plus; military equivalency is accepted.

Qualifications

• Candidate must be pursuing BS/BA in Civil Engineering.
• 2.5 Grade Point Average.
• Military equivalent will be recognized in lieu of education and/or experience.

Responsibilities

• Develops relationships with account representatives, territory managers and regional sales.
• Read and accurately interpret drawings; produce shop drawings and calculations; draft sketches using AutoCAD or Revit.
• Produce calculations and presentable results for internal review and client submission; cooperate with team members to complete tasks.
• Manage daily office and engineering duties; maintain a clean office; participate in meetings; support project goals.
