Job summary

KPFF Consulting Engineers in Salt Lake City offers a Structural Engineering Intern role to work with experienced engineers on real projects, gaining hands-on exposure in design, analysis, and construction phases.

You will perform structural analysis with RAM, RISA, and CSI; use Revit for drawings; participate in site visits; and engage in Weekly Intern Training. Full-time summer internship expected for 10–12 weeks.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in civil/structural engineering.
• Completed statics and mechanics of materials, plus at least one design course.
• Minimum GPA 3.0.
• Effective written and verbal communication.
• Strong technical and organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate on structural projects during design, analysis, and construction.
• Perform structural analysis and calculations using RAM, RISA, CSI.
• Use Revit to assist in creating structural drawings and specs.
• Participate in site visits and weekly intern training.
