Qualifications

• Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s Degree program in Civil or Architectural Engineering with an emphasis in structures.
• Completion of at least two design courses (e.g., concrete, steel, wood, or masonry) by the start of the internship.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above in coursework.
• Basic knowledge of structural engineering fundamentals (e.g., free body diagrams, P/V/M diagrams).
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong technical and organizational abilities, with an ability to work collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Work among a diverse team on real world project work.
• Receive guidance from smart, enthusiastic, experienced engineers.
• Learn construction administration services, including attending site visits.
• Tell a unique story to present at the end of the internship.
