KPFF Consulting Engineers in Irvine, CA seeks a Structural Engineering Intern for a non-exempt, temporary position. You will gain hands-on experience on real projects, assisting with design calculations and site visits under project leaders.

Applicants should have completed a bachelor’s in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in Structures or Architectural Engineering, and be prepared for a 40-hour work week. The role offers a hybrid schedule with in-office days and Friday remote option.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with emphasis in Structures or Architectural Engineering completed before start.
• Courses in Structural Analysis, Mechanics of Materials, Concrete, and Steel or Wood Design.
• Willingness to work in the Irvine, CA area with a hybrid in-office/remote schedule.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in structural design and calculations under the guidance of senior engineers.
• Prepare calculations and construction documents for active projects.
• Participate in project meetings and site visits to gain hands-on experience.
