Job summary

The intern will learn through real project work, assist in calculations, and gain familiarity with structural software. Candidates must be pursuing a Civil/Structural degree and be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled and actively pursuing a Bachelor's in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Must be at least a college junior.
• Possess experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Requires previous course work in structural engineering, concrete, and steel structures.
• Solid writing and communication skills.
• Must be able to work legally in the United States for an unlimited time without requiring sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Understanding engineering drawings and specifications.
• Performing and checking engineering calculations.
• Checking drawings.
• Assisting in field site visits of existing and proposed structures, including active construction sites.
• Performing quantity calculations and take-offs.
• Gaining familiarity with structural engineering software.
