Job summary

WSP USA invites you to join our Summer Internship Program in New York City. As a Structural Engineering Intern, you will work alongside senior staff on real projects, gaining hands-on experience and mentorship through our Developing Professionals Network.

You must be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate Structural Engineering program with an anticipated graduation date August 2027 or later and be 18 or older.

Qualifications

• Actively enrolled in an accredited Structural Engineering program with graduation Aug 2027 or later.
• Must be 18 or older.
• Interest in Structural Engineering and desire to develop skills for WSP projects.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for engineering and non-engineering audiences.

Responsibilities

• Assist with field work, preliminary design calculations and analysis.
• Support preparation of final design plans, special provisions, and cost estimates.
• Assist in collecting and maintaining project documentation.
• Complete training on assigned tasks.
