IMEG is hiring a Structural Engineering Intern in Idaho Falls, ID. Over 10-12 weeks,you’llassistin the analysis, design, and implementation oversight of structural systems in buildings and other structures while working closely with experienced engineers and consultants.
This mentored internship offers hands‑on exposure to project research, design documentation, cross‑functional coordination, and project progress tracking in support of project goals and client expectations.You’llalso gain experience working within project budgets while supporting industrial, manufacturing, and MEP market work.

Assistwith structural design work for project discipline systemsin accordance withcode and IMEG standards.
Assistwith project research and finding resources related to project work.
Support good client relations, project design notebook maintenance, and documentation for permanent record files.
Assistwith coordinating design and schedule with other disciplines, including architectural, structural, electrical, mechanical, technology, clerical, and suppliers.
Assistwith documenting design decisions, meetings, and client instructions whilemonitoringproject design progress.
Assistwith reviewing project documents for accuracy and completeness before final check.
Assistwith preparation and issuance of addendum information.
Conduct periodic job site observations and perform other services as required by the contract services agreement.
