Job summary

KPFF is seeking summer interns to experience the daily life of a Structural Engineer. The internship provides training, team integration, and real-world projects. The program notes a strong chance of converting interns to full-time roles in the future.

As a Structural Engineering Intern, you will gain hands-on experience, apply your academic knowledge, and participate in meetings and site visits. You will work 40 hours weekly, with a hybrid schedule and Fridays from home possible after training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required prior to internship start.
• Transcripts must show courses in Structural Analysis, Mechanics of Materials, Concrete, Steel or Wood Design.

Responsibilities

• Gain hands-on experience in structural design on real‑world projects under guidance of project leaders.
• Assist in the preparation of calculations and construction documents.
• Participate in project meetings and site visits.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Structures or Architectural Engineering emphasis)
