KPFF Consulting Engineers is seeking a Structural Engineering Intern for a summer program in the Irvine/Los Angeles area. You will gain hands-on experience on real-world projects and work closely with senior engineers to learn daily tasks.

You'd assist in structural calculations and construction document preparation, attend project meetings and site visits, and benefit from a training-focused experience designed to prepare you for a career in structural engineering.

Qualifications

• Junior or above working toward a BS in Civil Engineering (with an emphasis in Structures).
• Transcripts must show completed courses in Structural Analysis and Mechanics of Materials.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of calculations and construction documents on active projects under guidance of project leaders.
• Participate in project meetings and site visits.
