Job summary

KPFF Consulting Engineers in Los Angeles seeks structural engineering interns for a summer program. You will gain hands-on experience on real-world projects and participate in training activities designed to prepare you for a career in structural engineering.

You will assist in calculations and construction documents under the guidance of project leaders, join project meetings and site visits, and explore a wide range of residential and infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications: Junior or above working toward a BS in Civil Engineering (with an emphasis in Structures).
• Transcripts must show completed courses in Structural Analysis.
• Transcripts must show completed courses in Mechanics of Materials.

Responsibilities

• As a Structural Engineering Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in structural design, working closely with our engineers on real-world projects.
• Assist in the preparation of calculations and construction documents under supervision.
• Participate in project meetings and site visits.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (in progress)
